{"id":17947,"date":"2023-04-04T14:57:39","date_gmt":"2023-04-04T14:57:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alprofitconsult.al\/?p=17947"},"modified":"2023-04-04T15:49:46","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T15:49:46","slug":"notice-to-vat-taxpayers-automatic-transfer-of-sales-and-purchase-books-from-the-selfcare-portal-directly-to-filing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alprofitconsult.al\/en\/njoftim-per-tatimpaguesit-e-tatimit-mbi-vleren-e-shtuar-transferimi-automatik-i-librave-te-shitjes-dhe-blerjes-nga-portali-selfcare-drejt-e-filing\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice to Value Added Tax taxpayers: automatic transfer of sales and purchase ledgers from the SelfCare portal to e-filing."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The Tax Administration announces that, starting with the March 2023 tax period, sales and purchase books will no longer be manually uploaded in Excel format via e-filing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This new development enables the automatic transfer of book data to E-filing; once you have closed them, on the SelfCare portal, from the 1st to the 10th of the following month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before performing the book close in the Selfcare Portal, you must verify the transaction data and make the necessary adjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Sales and purchase books that taxpayers fail to close by the 10th of each month will be automatically submitted by the system on the 11th.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Submitting the sales and purchase books on the Self-Care portal is done by following the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Access your account on the SelfCare portal using your e-Albania portal credentials.<\/li><li>In the \u201cSales and Purchases Book\u201d menu, select the \u201cMonthly Summary\u201d submenu, then click on the period you wish to declare (e.g., 2023, 03).<\/li><li>In the \u201cSales Book Entry\u201d or \u201cPurchase Book Entry\u201d section, you can verify all the details of your sales or purchase invoices. For purchase invoices, you can make the appropriate VAT adjustments (if necessary).<\/li><li>After verifying and reconciling the sales and purchase invoices, in the \u201cBasic Information\u201d section where the monthly VAT summary is displayed, click \u201cClose Book\u201d to declare the books, as shown below.<\/li><li>After closing in SelfCare, the books will be automatically transferred to the E-filing electronic filing system.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tatime.gov.al\/images\/img6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>If for the reporting period you were unable to reconcile the invoice data in the books or you closed them before the 10th and have also received other invoices (e.g., Utility service invoices), you will have the option to manually correct the data in the books through your E-filing account.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to draw your attention to the fact that book corrections should only be made when you can verify a discrepancy between the book data in Selfcare and the data you will be reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>The VAT return will continue to be filed manually, based on the data recorded in the sales and purchase books.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To correct the books through the E-filing electronic declaration system, you need to follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Access your account on the E-filing electronic declaration, at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tatime.gov.al\/\">taxes.gov.al<\/a><\/li><li>To change the sales book, in the \u201cSales and Purchase Books\u201d menu, select the \u201cSales Books\u201d submenu.\u201d<\/li><li>Click on the \u201cBooks Submitted\u201d section, select the period for which the book will be changed by clicking on the \u201c<strong>\u2192<\/strong>\u201d, and after selecting the period you must click the \u201cChange Book\u201d button, as shown in the image below:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tatime.gov.al\/images\/img7.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Then proceed with uploading the revised book in Excel format and submitting it.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To change the purchase book, you must select the \u201cPurchase Books\u201d submenu and follow the other steps described above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatime.gov.al\/d\/8\/45\/45\/1754\/njoftim-per-tatimpaguesit-e-tatimit-mbi-vleren-e-shtuar-transferimi-automatik-i-librave-t-shitjes-dhe-blerjes-nga-portali-selfcare-drejt-e-filing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">General Directorate of Taxes.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gdlr-core-widget-box-shortcode\" style=\"color: #ffffff ;background-color: #000014 ;\"  ><h3 class=\"gdlr-core-widget-box-shortcode-title\" style=\"color: #ffffff ;\"  >Do you have a question?<\/h3><div class=\"gdlr-core-widget-box-shortcode-content\" ><p class=\"translation-block\">Do not hesitate to <a href=\"https:\/\/alprofitconsult.al\/en\/contact\/\" target=\"_self\">contact<\/a> us.
