It covers new construction, repairs, additions and alterations, the erection of buildings or prefabricated structures on construction sites, as well as temporary constructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>General construction includes the construction of complete buildings, office buildings, commercial units and other public and service constructions, farm buildings, etc., or engineering works such as roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, railways, airports, ports, and other water projects, irrigation systems, sewage systems, industrial facilities, canals and power lines, sports complexes, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These works can be carried out in-house or for a fee under contract. Portions of the works, and even the works as a whole, may be performed by contractors. A unit that is responsible for the work performed is classified in this section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also included here is the repair of buildings and engineering works. This section includes the complete construction of buildings (division 41), the complete construction of engineering works (division 42), as well as specialized construction work, if carried out solely as part of the construction process (division 43).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rental of construction machinery with an operator is classified together with the specific construction work performed with these machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This section also includes carrying out construction or engineering works projects by having the financial, technical, and physical resources to realize construction projects for sale. If these construction projects are carried out not for sale but for its own needs (e.g., leasing space in these buildings, manufacturing activities in these structures), the unit may not be classified there but according to its operational activity, e.g., real estate agency, manufacturing, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">41 Construction of buildings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This category includes general construction work on buildings of all types. It covers new construction, repairs, additions and alterations, the erection of buildings or prefabricated structures on the construction site, and temporary buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Included here is the complete construction of residential buildings, offices, commercial units, and other public and service buildings, farms, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">41.1 Design of construction projects<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>41.10 Design of construction projects<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This class includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Designing projects for the construction of residential and non-residential buildings by combining financial, technical, and physical resources to carry out building projects for sale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This class does not include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Construction of buildings, see 41.20<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Architecture and engineering activities, see 71.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project management services related to the building project, see 71.1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">41.2 Construction of residential and non-residential buildings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This class includes the complete construction of residential and non-residential buildings for one's own account, for sale, or for a fee under contract. Portions of the work, or even the entire construction process, may be carried out through third parties. It includes new construction, repairs, additions and alterations, the erection of prefabricated structures on the construction site, and temporary constructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also included are the construction of major civil works such as highways, roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, airports, ports, and other water projects, irrigation systems, sewer systems, industrial facilities, canals and power lines, outdoor sports complexes, etc. These works can be carried out with its own financial resources or on a contract-based fee. Portions of the work, or even the entire practical work, may be subcontracted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">42.1 Construction of roads and railways<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>42.11\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Construction of roads and highways<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This class Specialized construction works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This division includes specialized construction work, namely the construction of parts of buildings and engineering works or their preparation. These activities are usually specialized for a common aspect of various structures, requiring special knowledge or equipment, such as well construction, foundation excavation, structural work, concrete work, bricklaying, stone laying, heating system installation, roofing, etc. This also includes the erection of steel structures if these structures are not manufactured by the same unit. Specialized construction work is usually performed by subcontractors. Repairs for the above-mentioned work are also included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also included here are the finishing works and supplementary construction works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This phase includes the installation of all facilities that make the building functional. These works are typically carried out on the construction site, although parts of the work may have been performed off-site in a specialized workshop. This includes work such as plumbing, installation of the heating and ventilation system, alarm systems, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>electrical works, automatic fire suppression system, elevators and escalators, etc. Also included are insulation works (water, heat, sound), sheet metal works, central cooling works, and the installation of lighting and signage systems for roads, railways, airports, ports, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also included is the repair of the above works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building finishing works also include tasks that contribute to the completion of construction, such as glazing, plastering, painting, and the covering of floors or walls with tiles or other materials like parquet, carpet, wallpaper, etc. filling the floor with sand, carpentry work, acoustic work, fa\u00e7ade cleaning, etc. Repair of the above works is also included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rental of machinery with an operator is classified under the construction work for which it is performed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">43.1 Demolition and construction site preparation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This group includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 works for preparing the construction site, including the relocation of existing structures beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">43.11 Demolition Work<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This class includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 the demolition or collapse of buildings and other structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">43.12 Preparation of the construction site<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This class includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cleaning the construction site<ul><li>excavation of earth, digging, backfilling, grading and terracing of the construction site, deep excavation, removal of rock waste, blasting, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>preparation of the ground for deep excavations (mines): massive removal of earth and other works for the development of mining fields, excluding those for oil and gas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This class also includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>drainage of the construction site\n<ul all types of buildings and engineering structures.<ul><li>Cabling and electrical equipment<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Telecommunications cabling<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Computer and telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>satellites<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>lighting systems<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>fire alarm<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>electronic anti-theft protection<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>street lighting and electrical signals<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Airport road lighting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This class also includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
