This interruption is related to the planned updates to align the tax systems with the new requirements of the law.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alprofitconsult.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/LIGJ-NR.-29-2023-PER-TATIMIN-MBI-TE-ARDHURAT-3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Income Tax<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this period, electronic services will be limited, affecting some processes important to taxpayers. Specifically, only the following will be possible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Printing payment orders for tax obligations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making tax payments through approved channels such as banks,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submission of statements for prior periods that are not related to the December 2024 period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, some key features will not be accessible. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submission of payroll and other monthly statements for the period&nbsp;<strong>December 2024<\/strong>, which are usually submitted at the beginning of January.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amendment of previously filed statements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessing and using tax services through the government platform&nbsp;<strong>e-Albania<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tax Administration has emphasized that these restrictions are temporary and are necessary to ensure that updates to the electronic systems reflect the legal changes. However, to avoid any delays or issues in meeting tax obligations, it is important for taxpayers to take precautionary measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this reason, it is recommended that all taxpayers review and file any returns whose deadline falls at the end of December before that date.&nbsp;<strong>December 31, 2024, 2:00 PM<\/strong>.
