The Tax Administration reminds small business taxpayers without VAT who have not been computerized by June 30 to get computerized, because as of July 1 businesses that remain uncomputerized will face penalties under the applicable tax legislation.
“We remind small business taxpayers without VAT, who have not yet begun the fiscalization process, to become fiscalized in order to continue operating their activities in compliance with the law in force, under which no business may operate unless it issues fiscalized invoices, otherwise it will be fined up to the closure of its operations,”,
The Tax Administration clarifies and continues to inform taxpayers through its communication channels and beyond to fulfill their legal tax obligations.
The General Directorate of Taxes reminds taxpayers that to begin the fiscalization process, they must apply online to obtain the electronic fiscalization certificate through the e-Albania electronic service “Application for electronic certificate for the fiscalization project.”https://e-albania.al/eAlbaniaServices/UseService.aspx?service_code=13691) where every step of the procedure is explained, which they must follow to successfully complete the application!
The Tax Administration also informs that taxpayers who:
- They are not subject to value-added tax.;
- They have tax obligations under the simplified profit tax for small businesses.;
- They do not have more than one location where they conduct business activities.;
- They have the legal status “Natural Person” and the employment category “Sole Proprietor.”.
