The General Directorate of Taxes invites all taxpayers who, as a reason for the rejection of their application for financial assistance, have a mismatch between their activity code and the description of their activity or the type of activity they actually carry out, to update their information.
The update of registration data by the taxpayer, whether an individual or a legal entity, is a requirement set forth in Article 43 of Law No. 9920 of May 19, 2008 “On Tax Procedures,” as amended.
To update the data, specifically the NACE code and the activity description:
- Taxpayers with legal status as natural persons must apply on the e-albania platform, under the "My Business" menu. You can find explanatory details on how to apply for and use this service at: https://e-albania.al/eAlbaniaServices/UseService.aspx?service_code=4965
- Taxpayers with legal status as legal persons must report to QKB counters throughout the country.
The update and clarification of the above data will enable the correct processing of taxpayer complaints, the continuation of the financial assistance application process and the transfer of payments to the accounts of individuals who, after data verification, will be determined to be beneficiaries of the assistance.
