The deadline for submitting business financial statements will be extended to September 15, 2022.
The National Business Center announced on Tuesday that commercial entities will have until September 15 to file their 2021 financial statements.
Based on the problems encountered by business entities in recent days, for the successful submission of applications for the filing of financial statements for the 2021 reporting year, we announce that, based on the provisions of the Code of Administrative Procedures, the deadline for their filing is extended to September 15, 2022.
QKB announces on its official website.
The extension of the deadline for filing financial statements, which was announced a few days ago by the Ministry of Finance, is being made due to the problems entities have encountered in submitting their statements as a result of the cyberattack that hit government services, causing the e-Albania portal to be down for several days.
The original legal deadline for their submission was July 31.
The postponement of the balance sheet filing deadline was also a request from accountants, who argued that filing them even a month late would have no negative effects.
Businesses that fail to submit their 2021 financial statements by the new deadline will be fined 60,000 lek.
