Two new online services are now also available through the portal. e-Albania:
Registration of natural persons (ambulant traders, heads of household, agricultural producers, tax representatives) by the Tax Administration.
The registration request is completed through the e-Albania portal, without the need for individuals to appear at the counters of the respective Regional Tax Directorates. The steps to be followed and the relevant clarifications for completing the registration are covered in the guide attached to this notice.
Change of registration data for all taxpayers (natural and legal persons) registered by the QKB or by the Tax Administration
All taxpayers (natural persons, legal entities), registered with the Business Registration Center or the Tax Administration, after their initial registration, can make certain changes electronically through the e-Albania portal.
The amendments that taxpayers may request from the Tax Administration through the e-Albania Portal are aimed at two categories of taxpayers:
- taxpayers who are part of the QKB's commercial register,
- Taxpayers who register with the Tax Administration.
The application for changes to the registration data concerns:
- The addition or modification of tax responsibilities for the entire category of taxpayers.
- Reactivation of the taxpayer (switching from passive status to active status) in cases where the switch to passive status was made electronically by the system without the taxpayer's request.
- The application and reflection of any changes to the tax system for all taxpayers registering with the tax administration who are not part of the QKB commercial register.
