The Operational Plan against informality continues to be well organized with a comprehensive approach. Based on the risk module, this plan, alongside the Field Monitoring Structures, has also included the Control Directorate.
For taxpayers identified as having fallen into noncompliance, fiscal visits have been conducted under a detailed work program to identify, prevent, and combat tax evasion.
From 159 Entities identified as high-risk in the construction sector have been completed. 114 A tax audit is underway at these entities, while the verification process continues at 28 other entities.
The notification of these tax audits has significantly raised taxpayers' awareness, prompting them to self-correct their situation and increase their self-reported declarations.
The turnover of taxpayers notified for tax inspections has increased by 5. %, VAT liability on a turnover basis 36% and the VAT payment of approximately 49% compared to the same period a year ago.
During October, work will continue on completing all tax audits to review the reassessments and self-corrections that will be reflected in their financial statements.
On-site inspections are scheduled and will be carried out during October for taxpayers with the largest declines and who account for a higher share of revenue as contributors.
