The Tax Administration wishes to bring to the attention of all taxpayers who, under the Law 87/2019 “On the Invoice and the Monitoring System of Turnover”, The amended version requires that, as of January 1, 2021, they issue invoices in electronic form and apply for the Electronic Fiscalization Certificate.
According to Article 2, letter b, and Article 48, point 2/a, of this law, its scope of application establishes the obligation for taxpayers who conduct sales transactions with Public Entities, as of January 1, 2021, are required to issue only electronic invoices for the goods or services sold.
The Tax Administration also reminds you that on July 1 the second phase of fiscalization for cashless business-to-business transactions will take effect. These taxpayers must also take steps to obtain their electronic certificate in time.
The Electronic Certificate for the Fiscalization project is one of the essential elements that ensures the use of the Electronic Invoice portal and the performance of related operations.
This very important technical element for accessing the portal and receiving invoices is obtained by applying online to the National Agency of Societal Information (AKSHI) through the e-Albania portal at the link. https://e-albania.al/eAlbaniaServices/UseService.aspx?service_code=13691.
We invite all taxpayers who will be users of the Fiscalization system, in fulfillment of the legal obligation arising from the Law. 87/2019 “On the Invoice and the Monitoring System of Turnover”, as amended, to apply for the electronic certificate within the specified timeframes.
