The General Directorate of Taxes brings to the attention of taxpayers,
who conduct cash sales transactions, the deadline for which is September 1, 2021, that in order to accept or refuse cashless purchases from other taxpayers as of July 1, 2021, they must be equipped with the electronic certificate for Fiscalization.
Meanwhile, for cashless sales to taxpayers, an electronic invoice must be issued as of July 1, 2021.
The application for an electronic certificate is made through the e-Albania portal at the following link: https://e-albania.al/eAlbaniaServices/UseService.aspx?service_code=13691.
The tax administration encourages all taxpayers to fiscalize their sales transactions before the legal deadline, July 1, 2021, for cashless B2B transactions and September 1, 2021 for cash B2C transactions, if, in addition to the electronic certificate, they have secured the necessary elements for fiscalization:
- Electronic devices (computer, laptop, tablet, etc.)

- Software solution maintainer
- Simple printer
- Uninterrupted internet connection
We remind taxpayers that, as of July 1, 2021, cashless sales transactions between taxpayers, known as phase B2B, will be fiscally recorded, and as of September 1, 2021, cash sales, i.e., B2C transactions, will also be recorded.
