The General Directorate of Taxes brings to the attention of individuals resident in the Republic of Albania who, during 2020, have earned income from all sources, both within and outside of Albania, in the amount of 2,000,000 (two million) lek or more, that June 30, 2021, is the final deadline for electronically filing the Annual Individual Income Tax Return (DIVA) for the year 2020 through the e-filing system. Non-resident individuals who earn taxable income sourced in the Republic of Albania, in the amount of 2,000,000 (two million) lekë or more, are also required to file the Individual Annual Income Declaration (DIVA). Additionally, resident or non-resident individuals who have been employed by more than one (1) employer must also file DIVA 2020, regardless of whether their total income for this calendar year is below 2,000,000 (two million) lek.We remind you that all individuals, resident and non-resident in the Republic of Albania, who are employed in more than one job and whose annual personal income is under 2 million lek are required to file the Annual Individual Income Declaration (DIVA) and pay Personal Income Tax.
