The General Directorate of Taxes brings to the attention of individuals residing in the Republic of Albania who, during the year 2020, have earned income from all sources, both within and outside of Albania, in the amount of 2,000,000 (two million) lek or more, that June 30, 2021, is the final deadline for electronically filing, through the e-filing system, the Individual Annual Income Declaration (DIVA) for the year 2020.
Non-resident individuals who earn taxable income sourced in the Republic of Albania in an amount of 2,000,000 (two million) lekë or more are also required to file the Annual Individual Income Statement (DIVA).
Also, they must file DIVA 2020, regardless of whether their total income for this calendar year is below 2,000,000 (two million) lekë, including both resident and non-resident individuals who have been employed by more than one employer.
We remind you that all individuals, resident and non-resident in the Republic of Albania, who are employed in more than one job and whose annual personal income is under 2 million lek are required to file the Annual Individual Income Declaration (DIVA) and pay Personal Income Tax. (one) employer and whose annual personal income is under 2 million lek. For this category as well, the deadline for filing and paying the annual personal income DIVA 2020 declaration is June 30, 2021.
