The General Directorate of Taxes informs taxpayers that as of May 10, the Taxpayers' Service at each Regional Tax Director will provide assistance and support at every activity location, for every taxpayer, for the registration of initial data on the portal SelfCare, in the context of the Fiscalization process.
Visits by Service employees will be conducted as part of an action plan developed by the DPT, with the aim of informing and assisting taxpayers in the timely and quality fulfillment of their legal obligations arising from the fiscalization regulatory framework, and the primary objective of maximizing the number of taxpayers registered on the Portal who voluntarily comply with their obligations.
Employees who will provide on-site assistance, trained in all aspects of this process, are equipped with the necessary electronic devices, tablets, to enable taxpayers to submit their applications in person, and will present their identification and work order to each taxpayer.
Also, as part of this Measures Plan, a dedicated counter—the Small Business Corner—will be established at taxpayer service offices in each DRT, exclusively for supporting small business taxpayers in relation to the fiscalization process.
This service will also be offered dedicatedly at the DPT counters in the ADISA centers and at the QKB.
We would like to inform taxpayers that in order to enable data registration on the SelfCare Portal, they must first have a business account on the E-Albania Portal. If the taxpayer is not registered on E-Albania, they must first complete that registration, and then proceed with the other steps to register data on the SelfCare Portal.
We remind taxpayers that, as of July 1, 2021, cashless sales transactions between taxpayers, known as phase B2B, will be fiscally recorded, and as of September 1, 2021, cash sales, i.e., B2C transactions, will also be recorded.
