Course Overview
This course is designed to help recent graduates and professionals from other fields better understand the economics profession and apply theoretical concepts in practice.
Completing the course offers a unique opportunity to become part of our extensive public engagement project, welcoming anyone interested in learning more about the economics profession. It will serve as an open window to join our network of professionals for sharing ideas, projects, and concepts, and for mutual support in the future.
Certainly, at the conclusion of the course, you will not be an economist or be able to work independently; because this can only be achieved through years of experience, but you will have a clear idea of the work that awaits you in the future and learn some initial skills that are necessary at the beginning of your career.
The course will be held in 8 phases, divided into 24 sessions with a planned duration of 8 weeks. There are no shortcuts, and we believe that to get the most out of it, commitment will be needed that should last at least 2 months.
This way we will have enough time to engage in detail with the necessary issues of this phase.
The course phases will be:
- Enterprise configuration and opening entries.
- Purchasing processes
- The sales process.
- Payment list
- Back and Bank
- Regulatory actions
- Financial Statements
- Office Package
- Financial software (Alpha, Financa 5, QuickBooks) (2 sessions).

Each session will last 2 hours.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to be part not only of training but of a training and practical process simultaneously. We will have opportunities to engage with daily practical matters that will require your attention, now in the role of an economist.
