The General Directorate of Taxes informs the public that the latest changes of Government Decree No. 305, dated April 16, 2020 They establish new criteria for receiving financial assistance, with the support of the Albanian Government.
According to these changes, there are beneficiaries of assistance amounting to 40,000 (forty thousand) lekë are all individuals, former employees of the entities that were permitted to carry out activities or were closed pursuant to orders of the Minister of Health and Social Protection, who left their jobs from March 1, 2020 to the date May 17, 2020.
The online application for eligible employees, submitted by employers by June 5, 2020, exempts them from the penalty for failure to apply.
In cases where the employer does not submit the application by June 5, 2020, all beneficiary individuals (according to the attached lists, see Here Upon verification of the criteria based on data held by the tax administration or on information submitted by employees or former employees, you will be automatically given the opportunity to receive financial assistance.
The General Directorate of Taxes calls on all entities that meet the criteria set forth in Government Decree No. 305 of April 16, 2020, as amended, to complete the Application for Financial Assistance for beneficiaries under the aforementioned decree. The processing of these applications will be automatic; upon submission of the completed form, the "Approved" note will appear in the Status section, meaning the application has been automatically approved and the payment of the 40,000 lek financial assistance will proceed.
