From July 1, the VAT declaration and sales/purchase books will be automatically completed by the Fiscalization system.

June 30 is the deadline for manual completion through e-filing accounts.

As of July 1, 2022, the sales/purchase books and the VAT return will be automatically completed based on data from the fiscalization system. Until then, the General Directorate of Taxes informs taxpayers that the submission of the VAT return or of the sales and purchase books will continue to be made through their e-filing accounts.

According to the Directorate General of Taxation, During the months of April–June 2022, taxpayers will be offered a dedicated space to report any issues they have encountered during manual e-filing submissions, with the aim of resolving every problem and improving the service.

“In order to address and resolve any issues encountered while completing purchase or sales invoices on the SelfCare portal, in the menus: “Purchasing Ledger Item and Sales Ledger Item,” DPT urges taxpayers to report through all channels of communication of the Tax Administration, such as via the Help Desk platform on the official website: http://helpdesk.tatime.gov.al and through the official email addresses of the Regional Directorates where the taxpayer is registered (https://www.tatime.gov.al/c/9/157/drejtorite-rajonale), the General Directorate of Taxes informs.
