The General Directorate of Taxes announces that based on VKM No. 576, dated 07.22.2020 “For some changes in Decision No. 953, dated 29.12.2014, “On the implementing provisions of Law No. 92/2014 ‘On Value Added Tax in the Republic of Albania”, as amended, all taxpayers who will no longer be VAT subjects, have the obligation to submit the distributed tax documentation (VAT invoices) to the structures in the Regional Tax Directorates that were involved in their distribution.
Warning!
The deadline for taxpayers to submit unused forms and/or books will be the period of March 1 – August 31, 2021.
Tax documentation can be submitted in person or by registered mail according to formats, which can be downloaded at the end of this notice. A copy of the confirmation record (Annex 3) will be sent electronically via issues created in C@ts, by the control inspectors from the office, who manage the taxpayer's file.
