About the Role
The Senior Accountant position at AlProfit is not an isolated role, nor is it a routine desk job. It's an active role at the heart of customer service and in continuous collaboration with the team.
As a Senior Accountant, you will independently manage a portfolio of clients, from day-to-day accounting and tax matters to preparing financial statements and periodic reports, serving as their primary point of contact. But above all, you will understand the business beyond the documents and numbers and see how your work directly impacts their decision-making.
This is a role for someone with work experience in accounting, requiring independence, professional judgment, and greater responsibility in day-to-day tasks. Technical skills are essential, but attitude, responsibility, and mindset are what truly make a difference in a role like this.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent management of a client portfolio, covering the entire accounting and tax cycle.
- Reviewing and verifying accounting records, invoices, and statements, ensuring accuracy before submission.
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements and periodic reports for clients.
- Handling the most complex accounting and tax matters, as well as advising clients on their obligations and deadlines.
- Implementing the work agenda and following up on ongoing matters.
- Organizing and leading periodic meetings with clients, usually every three or six months.
- Supporting and guiding junior colleagues on the team by sharing knowledge and experience.
- Implementation and improvement of internal procedures, as well as proper documentation of the work performed.
