As part of the ongoing fiscalization process, the General Directorate of Taxes notifies all entities in the Information Technology sector of the establishment of a joint commission for certifying the producers/maintainers of software solutions.
For the implementation of the Government Decision No. 239, dated March 20, 2020 “For the technical and functional requirements of the solution SoftwareRegarding the invoicing and fiscalization procedure, as well as the procedure and criteria for registering solution producers and maintainers. Software”-ike," the joint order between the General Directorate of Taxes and National Agency of the Information Society for appointments to the joint certification commission, thereby creating the opportunity for any interested entity to apply for and obtain certification.
Alongside the joint order, the joint regulation on clarifying the certification procedures has also been signed, with the aim of clarifying all steps of the certification process, from application through to receipt of the certificate.
In implementation of this regulation, a joint working group of specialists from the relevant fields is tasked with reviewing each applicant's requirements, the submitted data and documentation, and the software solution itself.
We emphasize that the application for certification is submitted to the National Agency of Information Society through the e-Albania Government Interaction Platform.
The Tax Administration encourages all interested entities to apply for certification, thereby becoming part of the very important fiscalization process.
