In accordance with the applicable legal framework for invoicing and the cash transaction monitoring system, as of September 1, 2021, there is a legal obligation to fiscalize every cash transaction between taxpayers and consumers.
For this purpose, the General Directorate of Taxes, in cooperation with the National Agency of Information Society, has certified two entities in the field of technology and information as producers/maintainers of software solutions for cash transactions.
For the implementation of the Government Decision No. 239, dated March 20, 2020, The Joint Certification Commission, established by a special order, reviewed the applications by first evaluating the submitted documentation and then testing the software solution developed by the applicants.
Upon completion of all legal procedures carried out by the Commission, the Registration Certificate for each entity was issued, signed by the General Directorate of Taxes and the National Agency of Information Society.
You can find the list of certified subjects in the Fiscalization menu, under the link:
The Tax Administration encourages all parties involved in this important process to comply with and fulfill the legal and technical obligations imposed on them by the applicable legal framework.
