The General Directorate of Taxes informs taxpayers that starting September 1, the implementation of the plan of measures for information and providing assistance at the taxpayers' places of business will continue, with the aim of fulfilling the legal obligation for the fiscalization of cash transactions, in accordance with the law No. 87/2019 “On the Invoice and the System for Monitoring Turnover”, unchanged.
This plan of measures will be implemented from September 1 onward for a three-month period, during which trained Tax Administration staff will provide assistance to taxpayers in completing the necessary and essential steps for the fiscalization process.
The assistance that will be offered to taxpayers during visits by outreach teams relates to:
- Creating an account on the e-Albania portal (if they do not already have one).
- Application for an electronic certificate.
- Uploading the electronic certificate to the Self-Care Portal.
- Registering business data in the Self-Care Portal
- Simplified information on fiscalization, the method of issuing invoices, fiscal devices that can be adapted, companies offering certified software solutions, etc.
According to the following schedule, visits to the premises where taxpayers, primarily small businesses, carry out their activities will be conducted:
September 1 – November 30 at the Regional Tax Directorates in Tirana.
September 1–15 at DRT Kukës and Berat.
September 1–30 at DRT Elbasan.
September 16 – November 15 at DRT Gjirokastër.
October 1 – November 15 at DRT Durrës.
October 1–31 at DRT Shkodër and Fier.
October 16–30 at DRT Dibër.
October 16 – November 30 at DRT Vlorë.
November 1–30 at DRT in Korçë, Saranda, and Lezhë.
The General Directorate of Taxation will continue to have a sensitive and advisory approach for all entities throughout 2021 regarding fiscalization.
