The General Directorate of Taxation, within the framework of law enforcement No. 87/2019 “On the Invoice and the Monitoring System of Turnover”, For the Fiscalization process, which began on January 1, 2021, for all cashless transactions between taxpayers and public bodies, or B2G, updated data on several aspects of this process will be published weekly.

The figures, which will be published periodically, include the number of training sessions conducted or the number of participants trained, the number of electronic invoices issued, meetings with various business associations, accountants, special interest groups, etc.

  • Regarding the summary report on the development of trainings as of February 22, 2021, the General Directorate of Taxes wishes to inform that 1,252 Public Entities, 9,440 entities, and 790 Accountants have been trained, for a total of 11 trainings.482.
  • Number of electronic invoices issued

As of February 18, 2021, have been issued 107.185 Electronic invoice/e-invoice and cash invoice for 1.350 taxpayers. Of this figure, the number of invoices issued to public entities is 9.371 while 514 It is the number of invoices issued to private entities.

  • Technical-level meeting with stakeholders:

In order to clarify matters for taxpayers and resolve any issues they may have even after the implementation of fiscalization, weekly meetings have been organized with various business associations, accountants, and specific groups such as transportation, Exchange, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Also, on March 1, the General Directorate of Taxation will launch a field campaign, holding meetings with small businesses and providing taxpayers with all necessary materials and information regarding Fiscalization, with the aim of providing assistance for this very important reform, for both the Tax Administration and all taxpayers.
