SECTION L – REAL ESTATE ACTIVITIES
This section includes engaging in activities as lessors, agents, and/or commissioners in one or more of the following activities: The sale, leasing of real estate, the provision of other real estate services, or acting as real estate listing agents.
The activities in this section may be carried out on one's own property or on borrowed property, and may be done for a fee or under contract. Also included are the construction of combined structures along with the maintenance of ownership or the leasing of these structures.
This section includes bona fide real estate managers.
68 Real estate activities
68.1 Buying and selling real estate
68.10 Buying and selling real estate owned by the company
This class includes:
- the purchase and sale of real estate owned by the company or its leasing:
- Residential building and houses
- non-residential buildings, including exhibition halls, shopping centers and stores, etc.
- Land and plots of land
This class also includes
- the division of real estate into parts, without improving its condition
This class does not include:
- development of the project for the sales facility, see 41.10
- Division of real property into parcels, with improvement of condition; see 42.99
68.2 Leasing and operating real estate owned or leased
68.20 Leasing and operating real estate owned or leased
This class includes:
- the leasing and operation of one's own or leased real estate:
- Residential building and houses
- non-residential buildings, including exhibition halls, shopping centers and stores, etc.
- Land and plots of land
- Insurance of furnished or unfurnished houses and apartments for long-term use, usually on a monthly or annual basis.
This class also includes:
- the functioning of mobile residential settlements
This class does not include:
- For the operation of hotels, mobile homes, campsites, RV parks, and other short-term nonresidential accommodations, see Division 55.

This class includes real estate activities by real estate agencies:
- Real estate agents and brokers
- Real estate agents and brokers
This class does not include:
- Legal activities, see 69.10
68.32 Management of real estate for a fee or under contract
This class includes the activity of real estate rental or leasing, including services related to real estate:
- Brokerage in the purchase, sale, and lease of real estate for a fee or under contract.
- management of real estate for a fee or under contract
- Real estate appraisal services
This class does not include:
- Legal activities, see 69.10
- support services, see 81.10
- management of such spaces: military bases, prisons, and others (excluding IT services), see 81.10
