The Tax Administration reminds every entrepreneur that they have the option to apply online for the “Payroll for Social Security, Health Insurance, and Income Tax Contributions from Employment (eSig25),” which enables taxpayers to obtain the unified payroll statement with an electronic seal at any time and at no cost.
This new service has been added to the portfolio with nine types of certificates (seven for taxable entities and two for individuals) featuring a digital seal, which the Tax Administration offers online through the e-Albania portal.
Also, the “Tax Residency Certificate” can now be obtained online through the e-Albania electronic platform, free of charge and at any time.
“The ”Tax Residency Certificate” provides a legally valid document that certifies the payment of taxes on global income in Albania by the requesting entity. This certificate, bearing a digital seal, is recognized by all countries with which Albania has double taxation avoidance and tax evasion prevention agreements.
