The launch of this public consultation was made by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Ms. Anila Denaj, at a press conference, together with the Director General of Taxation, Ms. Delina Ibrahimaj.
Minister Denaj reported that the draft law aims to establish a new system for invoicing and monitoring business transactions in the country, based on a new fiscal equipment system.
The project provides that, starting January 1, 2020, all transactions between businesses and consumers will be reported to the Tax Administration in real time, based on the new fiscal device system, while as of January 1, 2021, all transactions between businesses and between businesses and public authorities will be conducted on the basis of electronic invoices.
