At this important moment for Albania, we wish all Albanians wherever they are a happy November 28th – Independence Day and the raising of the flag by Ismail Qemali in Vlorë in 1912 – as well as November 29th, the day that marks liberation and sold by the occupation during World War II.
These dates are etched in our national history as symbols of our people's courage, sacrifice, and unity. November 28th reminds us of the aspirations of Albanians for freedom and statehood, while November 29th demonstrates the people's collective strength in restoring peace and independence.
Today, as we remember these bright moments, we honor historical figures like Ismail Qemali and the heroes of the liberation war, who with dedication and vision built the foundations of a free Albania.
However, these holidays are also an opportunity to reflect on the new challenges and opportunities that await us. Just as past generations built a better future for us, we too must work together for a developed, just, and strong Albania.
Let's celebrate with pride and be inspired by our history to continue building a bright future for generations to come.
