One of the priorities of the General Directorate of Taxation's work is to provide quality services in a short time and at the lowest possible cost to taxpayers.
This purpose is also served by the adoption of Government Decree No. 624 of October 26, 2018, “Approval of the Manual for the Standardization and Establishment and Operation of Public Service Windows.”.
The purpose of this manual is to establish the rules for providing public services so that beneficiaries are guaranteed access and equal treatment, regardless of the institution responsible for providing them.
The manual establishes unifying standards for the establishment and operation of the service counter, regardless of the form of organization (service counter, dedicated counter, or one-stop service point, etc.). It also defines standards for physical infrastructure, information technology systems, reporting methods, performance measurement, and the development of human capacities.
The goal of the government, as well as the Tax Administration, is to reduce administrative barriers, provide services quickly, efficiently, transparently, and with quality according to the principle of separating reception offices from those responsible for service delivery, and to develop standards of care for citizens.
The Tax Administration remains committed to informing and educating all taxpayers with professionalism and dedication.
