New format for the simplified invoice.

The General Directorate of Taxes, in continuation of the continuous improvements of the portal Self-Care, inform tax beneficiaries that there has been a development regarding the new simplified invoice format.

The change made by the Tax Administration, in the context of implementing Law no. 87/2019 “On the invoice and the circulation monitoring system” unchanged, aims to make this process as easy as possible for taxpayers. 

According to the Decision of the Minister of Finance No. 220, dated 12.3.2020 “On determining the category of taxpayers and the criteria for using the simplified fiscalization procedure”, For taxpayers who can issue invoices from the Self-Care portal, the following changes have been made to issue simplified invoices:

Improvements to the simplified invoice

  • Albania, a default state
  • Possibility of issuing a simplified invoice without cash on delivery
  • Cashless payment methods & translations
  • Cash register and cash register - automatic opening for taxpayers, Self-Care Portal users according to VKM 220, who issue simplified invoices.
