Occupational Safety and Health

The employer is required to create a safe and healthy work environment. He must:

Practical example: On a construction site, every worker must be equipped with a hard hat and a reflective vest.

Protection from Harassment and Discrimination

Any form of discrimination and harassment, whether verbal or physical, is strictly prohibited in the workplace. The employer is required to take measures to address complaints and to prevent the recurrence of such incidents (Article 9).

Practical example: An employee who is harassed by his colleagues because of his nationality has the right to legal protection and disciplinary action against the perpetrators.
