Workplace safety doesn't begin on the day of an accident. The Labor Code requires the employer to establish technical safety rules, to inform and train employees upon hiring, and to always keep the risk assessment document for each workplace on the premises. Accident reports are kept for at least three years and submitted to the inspector whenever requested.
