End of the relationship

An employee's termination is rarely challenged on the grounds and very often on the procedure. The Labor Code requires at least 72 hours' written notice before the meeting, a meeting at which the employee is heard, and notification of the decision within 48 hours up to one week afterward. Only then does the notice period begin, which ranges from two weeks to three months depending on years of service. After three years of employment, a severance payment also becomes due—at least two weeks' pay for each full year. Here you will find every step of this process, each with its own page.

✓ 72-hour notice before the appointment ✓ Deadline: 2 weeks to 3 months ✓ Age after 3 years ✓ File the lawsuit within 180 days
